This lovely pale pink glass was manufactured in great quantities during the 1930's and 1940's becoming known simply as Depression Glass. Popular for the delicate color and beautiful embossing patterns, this glass is now treasured by collectors worldwide. Reclaimed from old glass dumps in wooded habitats and rural farmlands in an effort to help the environment and wildlife, they are remade in these lovely glass earrings of the most striking color!
The glass measures 1/4" in width x 1" in length and hangs from sterling french ear wires. Total hang length including the wires is approx 1 1/2". Due to the handmade nature of the product and antique glass, expect variations in waves, hues, and bubbles. After being handcut and carefully smoothed, the glass is hand drilled and given a wrap of pure sterling.
Each piece of Bottled Up Designs comes with the "Story of the Glass" detailing what the glass was originally and the age of the piece, for a unique way to preserve the history of the glass while helping the environment.
