This lovely pale pink glass was manufactured in great quantities during the 1930's and 1940's becoming known simply as Depression Glass. Popular for the delicate color and beautiful embossing patterns, this glass is now treasured by collectors worldwide. The glass in these pendants has been reclaimed from broken pieces taken from old glass dumps from natural wooded habitats and rural farmlands in an effort to help the environment and protect the wildlife.
The broken pieces of various dishware have been reclaimed and hand cut to 5/8" in width, x 1 1/2" in length, wrapped in sterling and hangs on your choice sterling chain. Due to the handmade nature of the product and antique glass, expect variations in the glass and the embossing pattern, but each piece will bear the original embossing so popular from that era in history.
Every piece of Bottled Up Designs comes with "The Story of the Glass" detailing what the glass was originally and the age of the piece in an effort to preserve the history of the glass while helping the environment.
